Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or CS GO is from the Counter-Strike series. Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment worked together to develop it.

This first-person shooter multiplayer game was released in 2012 and is considered a step up from the other games in the series while staying faithful to them.

The game involves player vs. player gameplay. Each was placed into one of the two teams- the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists. Both teams have the same task- eliminate the other team.

Along the way, there are different objectives that players must complete.

Depending on the mode they are playing, the Terrorists must keep hostages and plant bombs.

The Counter-Terrorists need to defuse the bombs, prevent them from being planted, and save the hostages.

There are nine modes in the game, each with its characteristic features. Valve has introduced a matchmaking system that allows players to create and play on their custom maps and host servers. In 2018, Valve also released Danger Zone, the battle-royale mode.

This game forces you to cooperate with your teammates.

Not doing so will result in a penalty and you will lose the round. You can earn in-game money after winning a game and also lose it if you lose. With the money earned from the matches, you can buy and upgrade your weapons and machinery.

The beauty of the game lies in the fact that it gives players the space to think about and execute strategies with one another.

Global Offensive is filled with new types of guns, bombs and other weaponry along with new mods, called Arms Race and Demolition.

Did you know that this game was initially planning to create a cross-platform version i.e. over Windows, XBOX 360, and PlayStation 3? This plan was scrapped due to the different update speeds of the platforms.

Nonetheless, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has connected more players together over PC, making it one of the best games in the series so far.

Counter-Strike is a fairly high graphics game and playing this game at the lowest settings, will definitely not do much justice. Hence, it is always advisable to upgrade your system requirements in order to play the game at the highest settings.

Upgraded hardware will ensure that the game runs smoothly and there won’t be any kind of lag while playing. As a gamer, if a game lags in between an intense moment in the game, it is definitely one of the most frustrating moments. Hence, in order to improve your gameplay experience, always go for custom PC
